Tinopolis forges wide-ranging partnership with Scott Miller to expand Rescue Vet on YouTube

by | Nov 8, 2026 | News

UK-based media group Tinopolis is partnering with veterinary surgeon and presenter Scott Miller to grow his existing Rescue Vet YouTube channel, develop new formats and explore distribution to broadcasters and streaming services.

The agreement brings together three Tinopolis companies: UpStream Media will manage the channel and develop its audience, Firecracker Films will produce additional content strands, and Passion Distribution will pursue international sales.

Among the first projects in development is My Pet Hates, a filmed podcast series. The partnership also includes plans to extend the reach of Miller’s content across other digital platforms.

Nick Rees, COO of distribution at Tinopolis, said: “Scott has built fantastic foundations with Rescue Vet, and we see a real opportunity to grow its audience and commercial value across multiple platforms.”

He added: “UpStream’s established digital network brings cross-promotion, audience insights and new revenue opportunities. Combining that expertise with Firecracker’s production skills and Passion Distribution’s international reach makes partnerships like this an exciting growth area for Tinopolis.”

The deal forms part of Tinopolis’s wider investment in its YouTube business, with Kat Lennox serving as creative director for branded content and Helen Anglim as head of brand partnerships.

Hannah Wyatt, CEO of Tinopolis Unscripted UK, said: “We’re looking forward to working with Scott and creating distinctive programming, with My Pet Hates among the first ideas in development. Working alongside Kat, Helen and the wider UpStream team means we can bring production, audience-building and brand conversations together from the outset.”

Miller is the resident vet on ITV’s This Morning and has contributed to programmes across the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. His series Vet on the Hill, filmed at his Richmond practice, has been broadcast in almost 30 countries.

“Having spent my career caring for animals both in clinic and on screen, bringing authentic, educational, and entertaining pet content to viewers is something I’m deeply passionate about,” Miller said.

UpStream Media was established in 2023 as a subsidiary of Passion Distribution. It manages digital channels featuring programming from producers including Tinopolis companies Firecracker Films, Mentorn Media, Magical Elves, A. Smith & Co. Productions and Pioneer Productions.
