SWNS Media Group has launched a new true crime vodcast, Key Witness: Aftermath, debuting today (May 20) across Spotify, YouTube and Apple Podcasts.
Hosted by broadcaster and documentary filmmaker Daisy Maskell, the weekly series focuses on the long-term personal impact of high-profile criminal cases, featuring interviews with relatives, survivors and individuals closely connected to events that attracted national and international attention.
According to SWNS, the format aims to explore “what comes next” after criminal investigations and court proceedings conclude, with an emphasis on grief, trauma and the lasting effects on those involved. The launch episode features an interview with Lisa Squire, mother of murdered Hull student Libby Squire, discussing the aftermath of her daughter’s death and the continuing impact on her family.
Maskell is known for a range of factual programming for broadcasters including the BBC and Channel 4, such as documentaries Insomnia and Me, Cheat Detectives, In Too Deep: Selling My Virginity and The Truth About Spiking.
Key Witness: Aftermath launched on May 20 and will release new episodes weekly. The vodcast has been developed under the SWNS Media Group banner, led by Creatorville founder Sam Barcroft.
