Rights Booster has secured global VOD and FAST rights to a package of 27 factual and documentary titles from London-based distributor Scorpion Television.
The agreement covers SVOD, AVOD and FAST distribution and will see Rights Booster offer the programmes to its platform partners internationally.
The slate spans natural history and wildlife, true crime, social affairs, history and popular science. Titles include Big Cats of the Serengeti, Erasing Hate, The Great European Space Launch and Hard Earned.
Rights Booster specialises in monetising catalogue content across digital platforms and says it has direct relationships with more than 65 VOD and FAST services in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
Cat Davie, chief operating officer at Rights Booster, said: “Scorpion Television’s slate is exactly the kind of premium, engaging factual content our platform partners are looking for. We’re delighted to add these titles to our catalogue and bring them to new audiences across VOD and FAST platforms around the world.”
Scorpion Television managing director David Cornwall (pictured) said Rights Booster’s relationships across the VOD and FAST market would help give the programming “a new lease of life with international audiences”. He added: “We’re excited for this slate to reach viewers who might not otherwise have discovered it.”
