One Tribe TV launches digital-first wildlife series for YouTube

Nations and Regions factual producer One Tribe TV has launched Life at Anna’s Zoo, a new digital-first wildlife series produced in partnership with Manor Wildlife Park and experience platform Lovetovisit. The project marks a strategic move by One Tribe into original, platform-led wildlife content designed for online and social audiences.

Premiering on YouTube, the series offers behind-the-scenes access to the day-to-day operation of Manor Wildlife Park in Pembrokeshire, focusing on animal care, veterinary work and the realities of running a modern zoo.

The series is fronted by Anna Ryder Richardson (Changing Rooms), owner of Manor Wildlife Park. Alongside Richardson (pictured), Life at Anna’s Zoo features a regular on-screen team including head keeper Kim and vet Kevin, combining observational documentary storytelling with personality-driven access.

Life at Anna’s Zoo will release more than 20 minutes of long-form content each week, supported by a rolling programme of short-form clips and social assets aimed at driving discovery and engagement across platforms. While conceived as a digital-first property, the series has been produced to broadcast-level standards, blending obs-doc techniques with the immediacy required for YouTube and social media.

The series is executive produced by Peter Mills-Frost, with Adam Hearne serving as shooting producer, director and editor. Both joined One Tribe from Off The Fence and have academic backgrounds in zoology.

Mills-Frost said: “Production companies can no longer rely solely on the traditional broadcaster-led commission model. Life at Anna’s Zoo reflects the need to explore branded content and digital-first opportunities while maintaining premium editorial standards.”

One Tribe managing director Dale Templar, who is leading One Tribe’s YouTube strategy, added: “This project demonstrates One Tribe’s commitment to innovation and marks an exciting step in our evolution as a truly multiplatform content company. It’s a privilege to be involved in such a unique and exciting project.”

Lovetovisit is funding the project alongside Manor Wildlife Park and is sponsoring the YouTube channel. Co-founder Georgia Aubrey said the partnership aligned with the company’s focus on experiential content and audience engagement.

Based in Wales and the West of England, One Tribe TV is owned by Dale Templar and Owen Gay and is known for factual and specialist programming across UK and international broadcasters. Recent credits include The Rescue: 54 Hours Under The Ground (BBC), Sex: A Bonkers History (Sky History), The Emerald Isles (BBC/TG4) and Jonnie’s Blade Camp (Channel 4).
