NAB Show launches creator-focused initiative ahead of 2026 event

Global trade event NAB is expanding its focus on digital creators with the introduction of a new ‘Content Creator VIP Programme’, aimed at recognising and supporting influencers and independent media businesses shaping the industry.

The initiative will bring a curated group of creators to Las Vegas with a package of benefits, including discounted access, complimentary two-year entry to the Show Floor and Newsroom, and priority access to programming such as the Creator Lab in Central Hall. Participants will also be invited to structured networking opportunities with exhibitors, partners and peers, alongside resources to help scale and monetise their operations.

Organised by the National Association of Broadcasters, the NAB event said it is continuing to broaden its reach as the creator economy matures into a more formalised segment of the media business. The VIP programme was developed with input from the NAB Show’s Creator Council, first introduced at the 2025 edition of the show.

“The creator economy is now a driving force across the industry,” said Karen Chupka, executive vice president, Global Connections and Events at NAB (pictured). “It’s reshaping how content is produced, distributed and monetised. The Content Creator VIP Programme ensures NAB Show is not only reflecting that shift, but also actively bringing creators into the centre of the industry’s most important conversations.”

The 2026 NAB Show is scheduled to take place April 18-22. The expansion of its content creator activities aligns with a strategy to attract new audiences, particularly first-time attendees, entrepreneurs and next-gen storytellers working across digital platforms.
