ITN Productions is an award-winning content creator, known for its bold, original storytelling and high-impact journalism across broadcast, digital, and branded platforms. As we expand our digital division, we are looking for a strategic and data-driven Executive Producer – Digital Audience and Social Media to lead our audience growth and platform optimisation strategy across YouTube and social media.

This is a key leadership role at the heart of our digital growth strategy. You will be responsible for understanding what works for our audiences, using data and insight to shape editorial strategy, and ensuring our content reaches and resonates with as many people as possible. You will also play a vital role in driving revenue, optimising content for platform algorithms, and advising on best practices across the division.

Key tasks and responsibilities / what you’ll be doing

Lead the audience and social media strategy across ITN Productions’ digital output, ensuring content is optimised for reach, engagement, and monetisation

Analyse audience data and content performance to inform editorial and platform strategies

Collaborate closely with the Executive Producer of Digital Content and Development to maximise the impact and discoverability of our content

Advise on platform optimisation, including thumbnails, headlines, metadata, and scheduling strategies

Drive growth by leveraging platform algorithms, SEO, and monetisation tools across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other emerging platforms

Work with small, agile teams to implement best practices and deliver high-performing content

Stay ahead of digital trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours to ensure ITN remains at the forefront of digital storytelling

Support the development and marketing of content pillars to build brand identity and audience loyalty

Key attributes

Proven experience in a senior digital content or social media role, ideally within a news, media, or content-led organisation

Strong track record of growing digital audiences and driving revenue through data-informed strategies

Deep understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and how to optimise content for performance

Skilled in interpreting analytics and using insights to shape editorial and distribution strategies

Experience managing and mentoring small teams in a fast-paced, creative environment

Excellent editorial judgement and a passion for impactful, audience-first storytelling

Knowledge of editing, graphics, and digital marketing techniques is highly desirable

Collaborative, strategic, and solutions-focused, with a strong understanding of compliance and editorial standards
