ITN Productions is an award-winning production powerhouse, renowned for its bold storytelling, journalistic integrity, and innovative content across broadcast, digital, and branded platforms. As we launch a new digital division, we are seeking a visionary Director of Digital Content to lead this exciting expansion.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the editorial and commercial direction of our digital output, building on ITNP’s legacy of excellence while driving innovation, audience growth, and revenue across platforms. You will be at the forefront of our digital transformation, leading a talented team and delivering content that resonates with audiences and partners alike.

Key tasks and responsibilities / what you’ll be doing

Define and execute the high-level editorial and business strategy for ITNP’s digital division

Build and lead digital teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and performance

Oversee all digital content, including commissioned and contracted output, social media, and YouTube

Drive audience engagement and growth through data-driven content strategies, platform optimisation, and monetisation

Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to amplify reach and brand impact

Manage budgets effectively and ensure commercial targets are met or exceeded

Ensure all content complies with relevant editorial and regulatory standards

Develop and implement a phased roadmap for digital growth (Phase 1 to Phase 3)

Represent ITNP externally, leveraging industry relationships and reputation to build partnerships and opportunities

Key attributes

A proven senior leader with extensive experience in production and a great track record in digital content, strategic leadership, and unscripted production

Strong experience in change management

Demonstrated success in building and scaling digital teams and operations

Strong track record of delivering audience growth and commercial success

Deep understanding of digital platforms, analytics, monetisation models, and content trends

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks in digital media

A respected industry figure with strong professional networks and a reputation for creative excellence

Proven business development skills, with a track record of winning new business

Experience of budget management and proven experience of devising and implementing successful strategic plans
