The Drop owner TellyCast has confirmed the return of How to Make Money in Digital, its business-focused event for TV production companies, digital-first studios and creators navigating the fast-changing social video economy.
Following a successful first edition last year, the second How to Make Money in Digital will return to 30 Euston Square in London on 21st April 2026, once again bringing together leading executives, strategists and practitioners to examine how production businesses are building sustainable revenues beyond traditional broadcast models. The event will focus on platform-native content strategies, monetisation, IP development, brand partnerships, monetising catalogue and existing IP, audience growth and new operating models for the digital-first era. There will be a particular focus on vertical video, micro drama and video podcasting.
Designed specifically for independent producers, content industry executives and emerging studios, the one-day summit will feature 13 case studies, practical sessions, networking breaks and panel discussions aimed at founders, managing directors, freelancers and senior development teams looking to future-proof their businesses and make new connections with the leaders shaping the next generation of entertainment.
Justin Crosby, founder of TellyCast, said: “Digital-first video should no longer be a side project for TV companies. It is becoming central to how businesses grow, diversify revenues and develop new IP. The first How to Make Money in Digital proved there is a huge appetite for clear, honest, actionable presentations and conversations about what is really working in the market. The second edition will go deeper, with more practical insight and more voices from the studios building serious digital businesses.”
The programme will again combine keynote sessions with in-depth discussions exploring how production companies are publishing and scaling content across digital platforms, while also addressing evolving brand relationships
How to Make Money in Digital forms part of TellyCast’s growing portfolio of events and training initiatives focused on the social-video production economy, alongside the TellyCast Digital Content Forum, the Digital Video Awards and the TellyCast Digital Bootcamp courses.
