Former LADBible and Flight Story production executive Bryony Hopkins has launched BRYONY ink., a consultancy business focused on helping creators, brands and digital media companies build a sustainable production infrastructure.
The London-based business launches at a time of continued growth in the UK creator economy, with YouTube overtaking the BBC in reach for the first time in January 2026 and UK brands spending £840m on creator partnerships on the platform last year.
BRYONY ink. – standing for Infrastructure, Network and Knowledge – will advise creator-led businesses on areas including production operations, team structures, workflows, budgeting and commercial deal support.
The company is positioning itself around the widening gap between audience growth in the creator economy and the operational infrastructure supporting it. “Creators are no longer operating like individuals, they’re operating like media companies,” Hopkins said. “While investment in creator partnerships and digital media has increased, the infrastructure behind those businesses hasn’t evolved at the same pace.”
There is no question Hopkins has identified a burgeoning opportunity. Industry figures suggest there are now around 120,000 UK-based channels in the YouTube Partner Programme, while an estimated 16.6 million people in the UK identify as creators. The creator economy contributed an estimated £2.2bn to UK GDP last year.
Hopkins said the consultancy would operate according to a bespoke model, depending on the scale and needs of each client business.
