V10 acquires Towerhouse to turbo-charge its digital-first content strategy

V10 Entertainment has acquired content creation and platform management company Towerhouse for an undisclosed sum. The deal was brokered by Carter Skeath (pictured), who joined V10 as president at the start of 2025 from ViacomCBS Global Distribution.

V10, which is backed by Clarion Capital, owns around 2.6 million UGC videos and controls distribution rights for ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos. Commenting on the deal, Skeath said: “As the industry shifts toward digital-first audiences, Towerhouse will be key in driving V10’s IP across channels. (Towerhouse) has refined a strategic content-driven approach that will expand V10’s offerings for traditional and digital partners seeking to build and optimise audience growth and engagement.”

Founded in 2021 by former YouTube and WarnerMedia executive Parker Jones, Towerhouse develops and monetises YouTube channels for sports, fitness, racing and anime rights holders. Clients include the Women’s Sports Network (WSN) and Comics Explained. It also has a collaboration with sports tech company WSC Sports.

Jones said: “Partnering with V10 gives us access to the largest clip library on the planet. Towerhouse knows how to turn content libraries into growing, monetisable audiences—especially in sports and entertainment, where rights management and sustainable audience growth matter more than ever.”

Jones, who will also have a role in driving digital investments at V10, will report to Skeath and V10 CEO John Stevens. Stevens said: “Parker is a best-in-class executive who knows the digital landscape incredibly well. V10 is making a big bet on Parker and his team with this investment, which aligns perfectly with our content strategy and elevates V10’s owned brands and channel services businesses.”
