UK-based talent management agency Upload Group has reported that new creator collective The Bov Boys has hit 100,000 subscribers on YouTube after just 3 videos.

Upload founder/director Stuart Jones said: “The reaction to the group and their new YouTube channel has been amazing and the lads are going to go from strength to strength in the coming months. We have some absolutely huge plans before the end of the year which will catapult them to the very top.”

Upload has worked with leading creators including The Sidemen, Chunkz and Beta Squad over the last ten years. Jones said: “I’m so excited to see how we can use our experience and learnings to grow The Bov Boys into another huge UK creator group.”

Jones said consistency will be key to keeping up momentum, “so expect to see plenty of content, including new videos every Wednesday and Friday on the channel.”

The Bov Boys comprises five young lads – Angry Ginge, Tays, Jakey, Chazza and Heinz. Jones said: “The lads are hilarious and have a natural chemistry and authenticity that is unrivalled – each of them bringing something different to the group.”

The new group was introduced to YouTube via a Squid Game-style teaser – two weeks ago. The latest video, The Alphabet Game, dropped this week and has had 143k views to date. Overall subscriber numbers at time of writing were 107,000.

The Sidemen were trailblazers in the creator collective space. But it looks like there is a growing realisation that collectives create the potential for larger, more diverse fanbases, and pave the way for new strands of team-based content. Already this week, The Drop has reported on the launch of beauty-based collective Beat Six.
