As video podcasts continue to migrate into the FAST and AVOD ecosystem, Swerve TV has launched a dedicated channel built around business commentator and podcaster Scott Galloway. The Prof G Channel is now available across platforms including The Roku Channel, Prime Video, Plex, Zeam and Fawesome, with additional distribution partners expected to be announced.
The 24/7 channel features a rotating lineup of programming drawn from Galloway’s podcast portfolio, including The Prof G Pod, Pivot, Raging Moderates and Prof G Markets. The service also includes segments focused on business, tech and culture.
Galloway, a professor at New York University, is also known as the author of books including The Algebra of Wealth and The Four. According to the company, his podcasts collectively reach more than 8 million monthly listeners.
“Scott has built one of the most trusted and compelling voices in business media,” said Steve Shannon, CEO of Swerve TV. “With the launch of The Prof G Channel, Swerve TV is aligning the company’s growth with the proliferation of podcasting and the increasing demand by streaming platforms for this content. Our first foray into podcast-themed channels is a dedicated, always-on destination that extends the reach of one of the most-popular podcasters to the FAST environment.”
Galloway framed the launch as part of a wider shift toward free streaming distribution. “Most media companies are consolidating, premium-ising, and praying their subscriber numbers hold. At Prof G Media, we’re expanding distribution, and the most undervalued real estate in media right now is free,” he said. “There’s a reason why the industry is finally paying attention to FAST – it’s about meeting viewers where they are. The Prof G Channel is us deciding that if we have something worth saying, we should make it as easy as possible for people to hear it. No friction. Maximum reach.”
The channel also marks a deeper relationship between Galloway and Swerve TV. The entrepreneur and investor recently participated in the company’s Series A financing round, which Swerve said is supporting its expansion beyond sports-focused FAST brands such as Swerve Sports and Swerve Combat into personality-led programming.
The launch reflects a broader trend in streaming, as operators increasingly look to podcast-based programming to fill FAST schedules and attract younger, digitally native audiences familiar with creator-led media brands.
