Studio Jadu launches AI animation venture with creator revenue-sharing model

by | Oct 29, 2026 | News

Studio Jadu, an AI-powered animation company founded by former YouTube and TikTok executive Masoud Loghmani, has unveiled a creator-focused model for helping independent artists produce original shows, build audiences and share in the resulting revenue.

Backed by Khosla Ventures and Shakti VC, the company combines production tools with distribution, marketing, fandom development and monetisation support. It is targeting solo artists and small creative teams, with a particular interest in anime-inspired projects. The company says it has already built a YouTube audience of more than 2.5 million subscribers.

At the centre of its offering is AIDA, its AI Director’s Assistant, which helps artists turn scripts into animation. Studio Jadu describes the system as a production workbench through which creators can develop stories, characters and worlds while retaining control over creative decisions.

Projects showcased by the studio include The Future Was Awesome, a comedy by four-time Emmy winner Fred Graver; thriller Sentinels; and supernatural mystery SDF.

“At Studio Jadu, we’re backing creators with the tools they need to bring their stories to life while retaining artistic control, reaching audiences, building fandoms, and earning the reward of their creativity through an equitable revenue share model,” said Loghmani, founder and CEO.

The announcement did not disclose the revenue split or detailed IP ownership terms.

Loghmani previously worked on monetisation products at YouTube and TikTok. With Studio Jadu, he is applying that platform experience to a business combining AI-assisted production with audience development and commercial support for artists.

The company’s Pioneer Program is now accepting applications. Selected creators will receive access to AIDA alongside marketing, distribution and monetisation support, with Studio Jadu seeking artists prepared to take an active role in directing their work.
