Sidemen collective unveils food competition series SideMenu

The Sidemen are expanding their slate of original programming with the launch of Sidemen Presents: SideMenu, a new food competition format that will debut across both YouTube and Prime Video this June.

Produced by Sidemen Productions, the four-part series will see members of the creator collective competing in a series of culinary challenges, with teams rotating each episode and points awarded across multiple rounds.

The rollout will begin on June 18 with the premiere episode launching on the MoreSidemen YouTube channel. Episode two will debut exclusively on Prime Video on June 19, alongside the first episode, before subsequent instalments arrive weekly on the streaming platform through July 3. Episodes will then be released on YouTube two weeks later.

The series features Behzinga, Miniminter, TBJZL, Vikkstar and Zerkaa, alongside frequent collaborator Jakey Davies. KSI did not take part in filming due to scheduling commitments.

Each episode will challenge contestants to prepare a starter, main course and dessert inspired by a randomly selected cuisine. Professional chefs, food reviewers and creator-led food brands will judge the results, while mystery-box twists introduce advantages and obstacles throughout the competition.

The launch strategy continues the group’s experimentation with distribution models as they seek to reach audiences across both creator platforms and traditional streaming services. Recent projects have included Inside, which moved from YouTube to Netflix, and The Sidemen Show, which launched on Netflix in 2024.

In related news, the collective is celebrating a strong launch for Exit Strategy, a new unscripted game format released on its MoreSidemen channel. The maze-based competition series surpassed one million views within its first 15 hours online, marking one of the strongest-performing launches among the group’s recent original formats.
