Colombian-American entrepreneur Jennifer Holguin has launched Amigas Mia’s, a digital media and talent management company that aims to move creators “from influence to ownership”. The agency launches with a roster of creators including Paula Galinda (@PauTips) and Camila Bravo (@KamilaBravo).
Holguin said Amigas Mia’s is a “first-of-its-kind model at the intersection of creator management, investing, and cultural influence”. Backed by its investment arm, Amigas Investments, the aim is to “turn influence into ownership by reinvesting success into high-growth startups, consumer brands, and emerging businesses.”
“The creator economy is evolving – it’s no longer just about content and sponsorships,” said Holguin. “Creators are shaping culture, and they deserve to be stakeholders in the businesses driving it. At Amigas Mia’s, we’re building empires with creators.”
As its name implies, the agency plans to focus primarily on Latinx talent and communities: “For the first time, underrepresented creators can access early-stage investment opportunities once reserved for industry insiders,” said Holguin.
Galindo, referenced above, is a beauty and lifestyle creator, inspiring millions across Latin America and beyond with her authentic voice, cultural influence, and global reach. Bravo is a makeup artist and entrepreneur.
