All3Media-owned Lime Pictures has relaunched its digital division under a new brand, Digital16, marking the evolution of its former in-house team, Lime Digital.
The new look division builds on a legacy of social media strategy and content development for UK TV, having previously led digital activity for major entertainment titles including Hollyoaks on Channel 4’s E4 and The Only Way Is Essex on ITV2.
As Digital16, the company will continue working with clients including C4, Optomen and Wise Owl Films. Its portfolio includes projects such as Hollyoaks, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive & Kids, Princess Diaries, Sort Your Life Out and Bad Boyfriends. Alongside broadcast partnerships, the company will develop commercial campaigns and social impact initiatives aimed at extending TV brands into digital spaces.
Graham Gallery (pictured), head of Digital16, said: “Our roots go back to the early days of social media for television, with Digital16 we’re building on that experience to help brands, creators and media companies connect with audiences in smarter and more creative ways. Having been at the intersection of TV and digital culture, our focus has always been on creating work that resonates with audiences and develops real impact.”
John Whittle, MD of Lime Pictures, added: “Lime has always believed in pushing creative boundaries, from the success of L16 Studios as a major production base to the continued evolution of our digital capabilities, it’s exciting to see the team launch Digital16 as a venture that builds on the innovation first developed within Lime Digital.”
