As we head into the Christmas break, I just want to say thank you for reading, subscribing and engaging with The Drop this year. What started as an idea to properly cover the digital-first production economy has grown into a genuinely engaged community of producers, creators, executives and operators who are all trying to work out where this industry is really heading. Our newsletter and website has grown massively this year and we’ve also launched our first print magazine.
2025 has been messy, challenging and full of hard truths, but also full of opportunity for those prepared to rethink how content is made, published and monetised. We’ll be back in the new year with sharper reporting, braver opinions and more practical insight into the business of social video and digital-first production. Until then, have a proper break, switch off if you can, and come back ready for what will be another defining year.
