Ex-Con Carpenters is an interview format rooted in true crime but delivered with an emphasis on restorative justice. Hosted by Raph and Taury Meade, each episode provides a visual narrative alongside the true crime story, with each contributor creating a piece of woodwork with the hosts, as a way to say thank you for support from a particular person(s), or to help mend a relationship broken by that crime.
The series found an organic audience on TikTok and Facebook where viewers were pulled into the comments section to discuss the big questions around each case.
