Creative agency John Doe has teamed up with production company The Junxion on a social campaign for Californian wine producer Echo Falls centred around a fictional ‘Carry All’ bra top – designed to parody television shopping channels.
Created to promote the recent launch of Echo Falls Blue Raspberry, the spoof product includes pockets for a phone, lipstick and keys, along with concealed pouches designed to hold 125ml of the drink.
The campaign takes the form of a QVC-style sales programme, fronted by presenter Sarah Sealey alongside content creator GK Barry (pictured demonstrating the Carry All). The Junxion said the project was produced over a two-week period, with the production recreating the look of a teleshopping studio.
Producer Chris Sofianos-Boorman said: “Having worked with John Doe before in a past role, I was eager to work with the talented team again as their creative briefs are always good fun. This one felt like a perfect fit for us. It’s a fun brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously, a great concept and great talent that both (director Jim Robinson) and myself had worked with before in GK Barry, whilst Sarah brought a real life anchor role to the piece in a playful way. This goes down as one of the most fun jobs I’ve had the privilege to work on. There were howls of laughter on set all day.”
Director Jim Robinson added: “Creating a parody of the teleshopping world was made all the more enjoyable by having such a brilliant team around us. Our Art Director, Dale Oliver Slater, created a world that felt completely authentic, giving GK Barry and Sarah the perfect space to lean into the comedy and they absolutely delivered. It was also my first time working with John Doe, and their creative immediately clicked with me. The concept was genuinely funny from the outset, and it was a real pleasure to bring it to life alongside such a talented cast and crew.”
