TellyCast Digital Video Awards 2026 has named Dish from Waitrose, produced by Cold Glass Productions, as the winner of the Video Podcast Award.

The award recognises excellence in video podcasting, with judges rewarding authenticity, strong host chemistry and production quality that elevates the viewing experience beyond traditional audio formats.

Hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett, Dish combines conversation, food and hospitality to create a video podcast built around warmth, intimacy and shared experience. Each episode centres on Angela preparing a meal for a guest while Nick leads the conversation, creating a format that blends elements of podcasting and cooking television without feeling constrained by either.

Visually, the show leans into premium but naturalistic production values, using carefully framed kitchen and dining sequences to make audiences feel immersed in the experience. Cooking, serving and eating are treated as integral parts of the storytelling, adding a rich visual layer that deepens audience engagement and differentiates the format within the growing video podcast space.

The Dish ecosystem extends beyond the main episodes, with recipe videos allowing viewers to recreate featured meals at home, alongside short-form clips distributed across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube that introduce new audiences to standout moments from the show. In 2025, the brand also expanded into live events with a sold-out show at the Royal Opera House featuring Jack Whitehall.

Judges praised the series for successfully transforming the podcast format into a highly immersive visual experience, combining strong production craft, natural chemistry and a clear understanding of audience connection across platforms.
