TellyCast Digital Video Awards 2026 has named Dish from Waitrose, produced by Cold Glass Productions, as Food Channel of the Year – marking a third win for the format and cementing its status as one of the standout successes of the night.
The award recognises excellence in food-led digital content, with judges highlighting Dish’s ability to combine entertainment, personality and culinary craft into a format that consistently builds audience loyalty and cultural reach.
Hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett, Dish has grown into one of the UK’s most successful food entertainment channels, built around the simple premise that the best conversations happen around the table.
Over the past year, the channel has continued to expand its audience significantly, reaching over 400 million annual views across social platforms for the first time. On YouTube alone, Dish has built a growing base of more than one million monthly viewers, with strong retention and a consistently returning audience.
Dish’s success is driven by its tightly integrated multi-platform strategy, with long-form YouTube episodes supported by short-form social clips and recipe-led content that extends viewer engagement beyond the show itself. Regular format segments such as Food Likes & Dislikes and the Quickfire Food Quiz have become highly shareable moments that fuel discovery across TikTok and Instagram.
Judges praised Dish for redefining what a digital-first food channel can be, combining premium production values with warmth, accessibility and a strong sense of personality-led storytelling. They said Dish stood out for its scale, consistency and emotional connection with audiences.
