Deep Fusion, the production company and technology specialist, has announced the appointment of Alexandra Wall to the newly-created position of head of digital and content strategy, alongside the launch of a new YouTube channel fronted by interiors and lifestyle specialist, Frankie Rowan-Plowden (pictured).
Wall comes from her previous role as head of streaming editorial at Channel 4 where she made a significant contribution to the evolution of the broadcaster’s digital transformation from 4oD to All 4, its streaming division. She led the creative and editorial strategy as well as teams across design and user experience.
The newly launched channel, ‘Frankie’s World’, spans interiors, fashion, lifestyle, travel and family. It launches with two main formats, a weekly vlog and a show called Frankie’s Fixes. Deep Fusion said the launch “marks a natural evolution for Frankie, building on her existing audience and public profile while creating a space that allows for greater depth, creativity and direct connection with viewers”.
Wall said: “As an AI advocate and true digital native, I am extremely passionate about leveraging technology to create meaningful experiences to tell engaging stories. With a growing talent network and a suite of proprietary tools, I’m delighted to be joining at such a pivotal moment in the company’s growth. Launching Frankie Rowan-Plowden’s YouTube channel is a brilliant place to begin – a space that blends warmth, humour and personality with a thoughtful, innovative approach to storytelling.”
The new channel will bring together long-form storytelling with practical design insight, giving viewers access to Rowan-Plowden’s personal approach to home, style and everyday living. Alongside home updates, she will be taking viewers out and about as she visits shops, markets, antique fairs and attends exclusive events.
In Frankie’s Fixes, Rowan-Plowden responds to viewer submissions, offering a bespoke design solution to improve their space. In each episode, she will create a mood board, offer handy tips to improve the space on a budget and a curated shopping list. She will look at everything from layout and colour to styling and atmosphere, all supported by Gen AI visualisations to bring them to life, created by Deep Fusion.
Rowan-Plowden called the channel “an opportunity to chat about and explore all my passions in interiors, fashion, home, family life and new adventures. As well as helping others with their own design dilemmas through Frankie’s Fixes, I am so looking forward to creating this new community which will be informative with a good dose of frivolity, something we all could do with right now.”
