The second episode of Tea with Nan, a creator-led interview series from Connect Management in partnership with Typhoo, dropped on Sunday April 19 at 6pm, featuring broadcaster Rylan Clark.
Fronted by creator Grime Gran (pictured), the digital-first series, available via platforms including YouTube, positions itself as a hybrid between podcast and short-form social content, built around informal interviews over tea. The format launched earlier this month with a debut episode featuring James Buckley and wife Clair Meek.
Early performance indicators suggest strong traction across platforms. According to Connect Management, the series generated more than 3 million views from social clips within its first week, with one TikTok video reaching 1.5 million views in four days.
The project was developed as a creator-first branded entertainment format, with Connect Management originating the concept around Grime Gran before securing Typhoo as a commercial partner. The tea brand has positioned the collaboration as part of its wider effort to engage audiences through personality-led, social-first content, describing the series as a way to bring the brand “to life in a fresh, playful way”.
Tea with Nan reflects a broader trend in the creator economy, with talent agencies and brands co-developing original IP designed to travel across platforms.
