TellyCast Digital Video Awards 2026 has named Channel 4.0, from Channel 4, as the winner of the Social Video Channel of the Year category.
The award recognises outstanding channel strategy, creativity and audience engagement across platforms, with judges highlighting consistent growth, strong content identity and a keen understanding of how to serve social-first audiences.
Channel 4.0 has positioned itself as a youth-focused, YouTube-first destination for premium creator-led entertainment, combining broadcaster-backed production values with a native digital commissioning approach. Launched in 2022, the channel has built a portfolio of original unscripted formats designed specifically for social viewing behaviours across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
Over the past year, Channel 4.0 has delivered significant scale and engagement across platforms, including 336m YouTube views, 1bn TikTok views, and 355m Instagram views, alongside 1.3bn minutes of YouTube watch time. Audience data shows strong resonance with younger demos, with 78% of views from 13-34s
