Burnley FC and X have expanded their multi-year strategic partnership with the launch of an exclusive original documentary series about club’s women’s team. The move underscores X’s continued push into premium original content production.
The new series, Limitless, is an eight-part, full-access documentary following Burnley FC Women through the 2025/26 season. Produced by VSP Studios and Ad Hoc Films, the programme debuted today and will roll out weekly on Fridays via X, accompanied by an additional slate of 30 short-form films.
Burnley FC’s head of women’s football, Lola Ogunbote, said: “Limitless is about telling the full story of Burnley FC Women – not just what happens on the pitch, but the ambition, resilience and unity that drive this group every day. This series reflects our long-term commitment to growing the women’s game, amplifying our players’ voices and connecting with fans in more meaningful ways.”
Limitless promises to offer behind-the-scenes access to Burnley FC Women, documenting both on-pitch performance and off-pitch storylines as the club pursues promotion from the Women’s National League. Filmed across the season, the series is designed to integrate with matchday conversation and fan engagement on X.
The series is sponsored by Sure For Women, which will feature through integrated product placement, as well as matchday kit and stadium branding at Turf Moor.
The women’s team documentary follows Keeping The Faith, an existing X Original tracking Burnley FC’s men’s side during the 2025/26 season, also produced by VSP Studios and Ad Hoc Films in partnership with Sure For Men.
The expansion into women’s football content reflects both Burnley FC’s broader digital strategy and X’s ambition to position itself as a destination for exclusive, sport-focused original programming.
