Bryony Hopkins has joined The Studio@FlightStory as production director, where she will lead the company’s ‘Founder Storytelling’ team.
In the new role, Hopkins will work closely with Diary of a CEO star Steven Bartlett, alongside senior team members Will Pérez, Alex Felstead and Elise Brown. Her remit includes helping scale Behind The Diary and expanding its reach across platforms with collaborators including Segun Ogunsheye and Zara Jarvis.
Announcing her appointment, Hopkins said: “If you’re in the creator economy or digital media, it is impossible to ignore what FlightStory is building, how they are innovating and why sweating the small stuff really pays off. In life it is rare to see a role that aligns with your skillset, your ambitions and also your personal interests.”
The appointment follows a two-year stint at Strong Watch Studios, where Hopkins helped build the production arm. During her tenure, the studio delivered more than 50 productions for broadcasters and brands including Netflix, Channel 4 and ITV, as well as commercial partners such as JD Sports and Superdrug. Projects also involved prominent digital creators and groups including Sidemen and Beta Squad.
Before Strong Watch, she worked at LADbible Group after leaving the BBC earlier in her career. She credits her time in live digital news with shaping the speed and adaptability needed to build large-scale production models in the creator economy.
