The winner of BEST BRANDED CONTENT SERIES at the TellyCast Digital Video Awards is Scarman, entered by Ukrainian-originated production studio United Heroes Group (UHG) and Bayer-owned skincare brand Bepanthen.
Presented during a ceremony at The Londoner, Leicester Square, the award honours series where smart brand communications and great storytelling combine to create an entertaining and memorable content franchise.
A powerful social reality project, Scarman explores the healing of physical and emotional scars through the transformative power of art. Each episode introduces a hero with visible scars who shares their story — how they got the scar, its impact on their life, and their personal reflections. Inspired by these stories, a renowned tattoo artist designs a custom cover-up tattoo. Viewers follow the emotional journey of the hero, the artistic process, and the tattoo artist’s creative insights.
In all four seasons of the project, Bepanthen has served as an integral brand partner, aligning seamlessly with the series’ themes and activities. Throughout the partnership, the brand benefitted from increased visibility and credibility, connecting with a younger, unconventional audience while maintaining its trusted image. The campaign’s success extended beyond brand awareness, as new product lines gained traction.
Judges praised the originality of the idea, adding: “It was highly emotional and a great message for the brand”.
