Last Pundit Standing, the new sports punditry competition series from BBC Creator Lab and BBC Sport, is now available on BBC iPlayer as well as the BBC’s TikTok and YouTube channels. New episodes will drop each week until the final on August 11. At time of writing, Episode 1 of the show had passed 2.5K views on YouTube.

Fronted by soccer star Troy Deeney and football YouTuber and presenter James Allcott, the seven-part series follows 12 of the UK’s most passionate football fanatics, who love creating content about the beautiful game on their social media channels, as they compete to become BBC Sport’s next big football content creator.

Joining them are guest stars who will be setting tasks and offering expert insight. These include Max Fosh, Martin Keown, Sami Mokbel, Rebecca Welch, Calum Leslie, Robbie Savage, Chris Sutton, Kelly Somers, Sean Dyche and Alex Scott.

BBC Creator Lab is a talent search scheme, in collaboration with TikTok, for social and digital creators with an interest in developing a career in television. Selected through BBC Creator Lab’s nationwide talent search the 12 contenders represent a new generation of digital-native football voices. The line up has been confirmed as:
