Ameenah Taher has announced via LinkedIn that she is taking up a new role as digital commissioning executive, branded at Channel 4.
Taher arrives at C4 following a series of high-profile departures on the digital side in recent months. In the branded division, Joe Churchill left to form Fan Club, with Sonny Maclean joining him soon afterwards.
Taher’s brief is unclear at this stage, but working with brands has been a key priority for Channel 4 as it attempt to flex its digital muscles. High profile projects have included Second-Hand Showdown with Vinted and The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds with EON Next.
