After Party and Sidemen’s ‘Best Breakfasts’ brand partners with gamer Sketch

Creative production company After Party Studios and the Sidemen have joined forces with gaming and Twitch talent Sketch to produce digital content for Sidemen’s new Best Breakfasts brand. A tongue in cheek sketch, which is Sketch’s first time fronting an ad, will initially roll out across Best Cereal, the Sidemen and Sketch’s social channels – which collectively have over 30 million followers.

Director and After Party Studios co-founder RVBBERDUCK aka Ben Doyle said: “Sketch’s iconic status and ‘what’s up brother’ catchphrase, which set the internet ablaze in recent weeks, made him a natural fit for Best Breakfasts and this project. With such a prolific and dedicated following, it was really important for us to lean into everything that Sketch’s audience love about him to make sure we created something that is not only nuanced and authentic, but unexpected and entertaining.”

RVBBERDUCK said there were only four days between the creative greenlight and filming, which makes the end result even more impressive. “The team have delivered a glossy film with a premium feel – that maintains the authenticity needed to connect with online audiences. Huge thanks to the crew, Best Breakfasts, and to Sketch.”

The new sketch for Best Cereals follows the success of After Party Studio’s previous work for Best with darts sensation Luke Littler, which scored 2.5 million overnight views and helped to sell over 100,000 boxes of Best within just a fortnight of launch.
