UK-based digital distributor Rights Booster has teamed up with aerial footage producer Skyworks to re-launch their World From Above TV YouTube Channel.
The channel was originally launched over 15 years ago. Now in collaboration with Rights Booster the channel will have a new look and feel as it looks to further exploit Skyworks’ extensive content in the digital space. Rights Booster will manage the channel and programming strategy day to day with Skyworks providing new weekly content – both long and short form – as well as a daily game.
Colin Mills, CEO of Skyworks, said: “As a producer, we are excited to have the opportunity to interact directly with our consumers and to bring some of our unique content to a wider audience. Rocket Booster has real expertise in developing effective digital content strategies, and we look forward to establishing an effective partnership with them in this digital space.”
Cat Davie, COO of Rights Booster, added: “This is an exciting opportunity to re-launch this brilliant YouTube Channel which boasts a huge archive of high quality and rare aerial footage shot in HD/4k all over the world. Now with YT embracing long form content it is the perfect time to bring a new look to the channel which boasts journeys full of history, culture and geographic wonders.”
