TellyCast, publisher of The Drop, is bringing back its Digital Bootcamp following a successful and fully-subscribed first edition; with the four-day training programme returning to London in October.

Taking place on 20, 21, 26 and 27 October 2026, the bootcamp is designed to help television and media professionals develop the practical and commercial skills required to operate in the digital-first content economy.

Building on learnings from the first event (delegates pictured) the programme will explore how producers and media businesses can build sustainable digital revenues, create platform-native content and develop intellectual property that can travel across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, podcasts and traditional media.

The course is aimed at senior executives across production, broadcasting and distribution, alongside digital, development, commercial and partnerships leads. It will also address the needs of producers looking to monetise existing catalogues, work with creators or establish direct relationships with online audiences.

Justin Crosby, founder of TellyCast, said: “We’re delighted to bring the Digital Bootcamp back after such a strong response to the first edition. There has never been a more important time for television businesses and executives to understand how the digital-first economy works – not simply as an additional outlet for content, but as a source of audiences, intellectual property and sustainable new revenue.

“The aim is to give delegates practical knowledge they can take back into their businesses, while creating an environment in which people can learn from some of the industry’s most experienced digital practitioners.”

Participants in the first edition described the bootcamp as a “genuinely brilliant” and “comprehensive digital education”. One reported back that the course’s mix of creative entrepreneurs and business-focused experts offered a broader understanding of how to approach the digital video economy.

Sessions will cover the changing commissioning landscape, multi-platform IP, social-video production, digital brand partnerships, audience development, podcasting and working with digital talent. The programme will also examine the use of AI within production workflows and how viewing data can inform creative and commercial decisions.

Case studies will offer practical perspectives on building creator-led audiences, growing YouTube channels and making the transition from traditional television production into digital-first business models.

The delegate fee for the October course includes a pass to TellyCast’s Digital Content Forum 2026, taking place on 5 November and worth £399.99 plus VAT. Tickets are available here.
