Banijay Entertainment is using AI-assisted localisation to support the simultaneous rollout of a Vinted-backed entertainment format across seven European territories.
Live Better for Less, produced by Banijay UK label Electric Robin in collaboration with Vinted and WPP Media, will launch in September 2026. The project comprises seven locally hosted series of 7×24-minute episodes, airing across Prime Video and European broadcasters.
AI localisation company Adapt has developed the project’s localisation strategy, using a platform that brings together AI models for translation, voice generation and visual lip sync. Linguists and audio specialists will oversee the process, with the aim of retaining the original performances while adapting content for individual markets.
Justin Beaudin, CEO of Adapt, said: “Live Better for Less is a great example of how AI should be used in content localisation, not to replace creative talent, but to help great stories reach more audiences. Today, we can go beyond translation alone. By combining leading AI models with localisation professionals we can preserve the original voice and performance while making every version feel local to its audience.”
The series follows individuals and families seeking to declutter their homes, manage limited budgets and achieve personal goals. With assistance from a local host, contributors identify possessions they can sell or reuse and examine how changes to their spending and consumption habits might improve their finances.
Live Better for Less will stream on Prime Video in the UK, France, Germany and Spain. It will also air on RTL 4 in the Netherlands, TVN Style in Poland and Warner Bros. Discovery’s Real Time in Italy. In the process, it will provides a significant test of how AI tools can help producers and brands manage the costs and practical demands of launching a coordinated property across multiple languages and territories.
The UK series will be hosted by TV personality and dancer Motsi Mabuse, with media personality Riccardo Simonetti leading the German version. Fashion designer Juan Avellaneda will front the Spanish series, while organisation expert Alexandre Cressiot will host in France. The remaining hosts are Chimène van Oosterhout in the Netherlands, Agnieszka Witkowska in Poland and Lodovica Comello in Italy.
Ross Brandon, co-founder of Electric Robin, described the project as a new model for integrated brand storytelling that combines consumer engagement with an “efficient and scalable solution for international content production and distribution”.
