UK-based digital entertainment studio Wall of Entertainment is expanding its operations into the US with two original unscripted series for Tubi.
The company, founded by Joivan Wade and Percelle Ascott, said the creator-led game shows Substitute Teacher and House Rules will debut on the streaming platform in June/July. Tubi has also acquired 100 episodes from Wall of Entertainment’s UK catalogue spanning reality, comedy, dating, cooking, sketch and drama.
Wall of Entertainment was named Studio of the Year at the TellyCast Digital Video Awards in 2025. The company produces digital-first entertainment formats featuring online creators and social media personalities.
Substitute Teacher, premiering June 25, is hosted by creator Charles Brockman III and is set in a high school classroom environment. The four-episode series is executive produced by Joivan Wade, Percelle Ascott, Jonny Paterson and Charles Brockman III. Wade and Ascott also direct the series.
House Rules, debuting July 16, is hosted by creator Laro Benz and centres on two couples competing through a series of household-themed challenges. The four-episode series is executive produced by Wade, Ascott, Paterson and Benz.
Wade, co-founder and CEO of Wall of Entertainment, said: “This partnership is a key milestone for us. Tubi is the first to see our vision of bridging the creator economy and traditional entertainment industry – giving digital talent great formats and the full production infrastructure to make shows that compete with anything on TV.
He added: “We provide these creators with an opportunity to go from social media to Hollywood – and walk away not just as talent, but with ownership as producers, with IP participation, and as architects of their own entertainment brands.”
Ascott, co-founder and chief creative officer, added: “We are excited to bring two flagship shows to Tubi as we continue to be part of the evolution of entertainment: a model where the next generation of TV-Quality formats are built by, for and with the creators audiences already love.”
Charles Brockman III said: “I’m beyond excited to step into the ‘Wall of Entertainment’ world to host ‘Substitute Teacher.’ I love to make people laugh and hope the viewers will have a good time watching this series. Playing these crazy characters was such a fun time and I can’t wait to see what comes from this amazing project.”
Laro Benz said: “I’ve always believed that great content brings people together, and this project is another step in that journey. Partnering with Tubi and Wall of Entertainment is an incredible opportunity, and I’m excited to share something special with audiences everywhere.”
Wall of Entertainment was founded in the UK in 2011 by Wade and Ascott. The company produces original programming for digital, streaming and broadcast platforms and is represented by WME in both the US and UK.
The studio signposted its US expansion plans in late 2025 when it appointed former Confluential Films executive Jonny Paterson to lead its US operations.
According to the company, its programming catalogue includes more than 1,000 episodes and over 50 original formats. Wall of Entertainment says its content has generated more than 12 billion digital views across platforms.
