Digital first entertainment studio Fawkes Digital has appointed Jude Parker as executive producer and Jake Holdsworth as production manager as the company expands its branded entertainment and original formats business.

Parker joins from BBC StoryWorks, where she worked on campaigns and partnerships with brands including Google/Alphabet, Verizon, Bosch and FC Barcelona Foundation. At Fawkes, she will exec produce a forthcoming branded entertainment format and support development across projects for MTV, Good Food and 4.0.

Holdsworth joins from Candour Productions, where he managed projects including the launch of the Live + Wild YouTube channel. In his new role, Holdsworth will oversee Fawkes Digital’s production pipeline and delivery of formats including Date Me Right Now (MTV), Spin the Dish (Good Food) and CEOs Go Wild (LinkedIn).

Commenting on her appointment, Parker said: “Having delivered to streamers, networks broadcasters and corporate clients in the US and UK, I’ve seen how some of the most exciting new IP launches are happening on digital platforms. I’m excited to bring my TV and digital expertise to Fawkes as we work with some of the world’s biggest brands and broadcasters on some game-changing entertainment formats.”

Holdsworth added: “Having followed Fawkes’ work for a while, I’m excited to join the team as output booms and we begin to scale up. I’m looking forward helping to build a company that brings quality broadcast values, commitment to duty of care and responsible working, and innovative production practices to our digital output.”

Lucy Smith, founder and creative director of Fawkes Digital, said: “Jude and Jake are both incredibly talented creatives. It’s a joy – and a relief – to bring them into Fawkes at such a pivotal point in the company’s growth, especially as the ambition and scale of our formats rapidly expand.”
