Olivier Levard, former director of Newen Digital (now Studio TF1), has launched Paris-based multi-platform production company Full Joy Media.
The mission of the new production company is to develop innovative formats and produce premium content in partnership with European creators, established industry players and brands. The company will target 15-45 year-olds on digital platforms as well as linear channels, making the most of fast-growing distribution and financing models linked to YouTube, TikTok, FAST channels and brand entertainment.
“We see ourselves as a bridge between two worlds,” said Levard. “We aim to bring the faces of the creator economy closer to traditional broadcasters and their platforms, and to connect audiovisual talents with social platforms in a logic of hyper-distribution.”
Reflecting on his time at Studio TF1, Levard said: “The success of Safe Zone with Faustine Bollaert, Génération Chefs on YouTube, and our ‘vlog-style’ making-of videos for TF1+ proved that it is possible to create and scale ambitious formats on digital platforms. This is the spirit of our new entrepreneurial adventure.”
Levard said that the nascent company is already developing three unscripted formats, with well-known talents, as well as a documentary series. To support these original creations, it has formed a partnership with Baraka Prod.
Hanna Baba-Aïssa, president of Baraka Prod and former head of unscripted programme development at Studio TF1, added: “Our shared ambition is to imagine and produce powerful stories, driven by bold and innovative formats. To bring them to life, we will collaborate closely with both brands and platforms.”
The first Full Joy Media productions will be released in 2026, said Levard.
