Kai Cenat has used his Mafiathon 3 to announce that real world event Streamer University is returning in 2026. The hotly-anticipated reveal came in the form of a newsdesk-style announcement that has so far had 200,000 views on X.
The first year of Streamer University attracted around one million applications for just 120 places. Held at a college campus in Akron, Ohio, the selected students attended classes on subjects like ‘Monetisation for Dummies’. These were taught by ‘professors’ including DDG, ChrisnNxtDoor, Agent 00 and Duke Dennis.
While the event itself was super-selective, it drew massive audiences on Cenat’s primary online platform Twitch. All told, it generated around 23m hours of viewing.
All students and professors were permitted to stream from the event, and the vast majority saw a big boost in their online numbers.
Details of how to apply will be posted soon – and knowing Kai Cenat the process will probably be launched with a fanfare. Last year, he introduced Streamer University with a lavish 3-minute video mimicking Hogwarts from the Harry Potter franchise.
