Neil deGrasse Tyson’s StarTalk media network has expanded its reach with the launch of StarTalk TV, its first-ever live linear channel debuting on Pluto TV. This new channel marks a significant development for StarTalk, aiming to deliver 24/7 science programming in an accessible and engaging format.

StarTalk TV features Dr. Tyson, the renowned astrophysicist and Hayden Planetarium director, leading discussions alongside expert scientists and prominent guest figures like Mayim Bialik, Jason Sudeikis, Jack Black, and Lindsey Vonn. Viewers can expect conversations exploring various scientific topics, interwoven with pop culture references.

“At StarTalk, we strive to make complex science understandable and enjoyable for everyone,” says Dr. Tyson. “We believe that science should be accessible and relevant to all, not just confined to academic circles.”

Leading AVOD Pluto TV provides a new platform for StarTalk TV. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to offer diverse and informative content,” says Amy Kuessner, executive VP of programming at Pluto TV. “StarTalk TV complements our new History + Science category, further enriching our programming and fostering intellectual curiosity among viewers.”

“We are thrilled to grow our partnership with StarTalk and join forces with Pluto TV to bring educational and entertaining content to Pluto’s leading free streaming platform,” said Stefanie Schwartz, Jellysmack’s chief business officer. “StarTalk TV is a great example of how Jellysmack is developing and scaling today’s most engaging creator brands into the digital media empires of tomorrow.”

StarTalk TV is accessible through Pluto TV’s History + Science category.
